The Maypole used to be the sort of pub right up your strasse, 85.
Not sure what it's like now, or even if its still there!

The Railway is a proper pub, unlike the other trendyTowie pubs in the area. I would rather watch the game there.

It used to be. Average age is now very young, and it's basically a pub with a load of people massively overdressed to go to the pub, because they've not been able to get in anywhere else. Will be busy and have a decent atmosphere, in fairness

The Railway is Sniff Central but the landlord is a Hammer.
Will never spend my money in Sheesh again. The family that run it are absolute scum. They once verbally abused and physically threatened my wife because she had the audacity to complain that there was a dog running about in the restaurant. Oh, and don't think about booking your own cab - the meat head son will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

They rush you make you order starters and mains at the same time and get you out so can get another table in, or go home.
